How to Use MoodSnap

Welcome to MoodSnap! Let's explore how to get the most out of this app.

MoodSnap analyzes your photos to detect your mood. For the best results, ensure your face is clearly visible and well-lit. Natural lighting usually works best! Avoid harsh shadows or bright glares, which can obscure facial features. Make sure your entire face is within the frame, and try to maintain a neutral or slightly expressive pose. If multiple people are in the photo, MoodSnap will try to identify moods for a few prominent individuals and may also provide an overall group mood. Clear, well-lit faces will improve results for everyone in the shot.

Experiment with different angles and expressions to see how MoodSnap interprets them. Remember, consistent results come from consistent photo quality. If the app is struggling to identify your mood, try taking a new photo in better lighting or with a clearer view of your face. Most importantly, have fun exploring your emotions with MoodSnap!

Please note: Your mood history, including photos, is stored locally on your device's browser. To manage storage, MoodSnap keeps a maximum of the 20 most recent entries. When you save a new mood and the history is full, the oldest entry is automatically removed.
